CAN YOU HELP?

Here are some of the expectations we have of Board directors.

to attend and participate at regular Board meetings, which take place ten times a year on the third Tuesday of the month (meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and usually last about 90 minutes)
to participate on working ad hoc committees that are established from time to time to address certain Board activities, operational issues and partnerships
to attend and participate in the Board's annual strategic retreat (this year's retreat took place in September at Elmhirst Resort in Keene)
to represent the views and issues of the director's constituency group at a Board level in an effective and constructive manner (this may include representing the Local Training Board at external events and meetings)
to adhere to the By-laws of the Corporation and standards of business ethics

As a "consensus" decision-making Board, we encourage open dialogue from all directors representing all groups of the many training and employment-related issues in our community.
