The Durham Region Local Training Board does not provide training or deliver services directly to the public. Instead we identify key training and employment issues in the Durham Region through consultation with various stakeholders in the community. We then work to address those issues, usually in partnership with industry and education.
You will find many examples of our work and ongoing initiatives in the Region of Durham on the pages that follow. The Board has been selected to lead a demonstration pilot project to develop an intergrated local labour market planning model for the Durham Region. You will find the recently released fact sheet PDF in the activities and initiatives section of this site.
You will also have access to current labour market data and information on programs and services leading to employment.
